Psychotherapy.
Therapy that honours mind-body unity

Dr. Beaulac offers bilingual, integrative, evidence-informed psychotherapy in English and French for adults and adolescents. Her approach recognizes that thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, relationships, and patterns of stress are deeply interconnected.
Therapy is collaborative and tailored to each person. Alongside exploring thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences, Dr. Beaulac helps clients develop greater awareness of what is happening in the body — approaching these experiences with curiosity, presence, and compassion.

Depending on each person’s needs, preferences, and goals, her work may draw from:
  • Cognitive-behavioural and acceptance-based therapies
  • Mindfulness and compassion-based approaches
  • Somatic and body-based approaches, including Brainspotting Therapy
  • Breath and body-based practices that support awareness and regulation
  • Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, including preparation and integration

Areas of Focus

Dr. Beaulac works with adults and adolescents experiencing a range of psychological and health-related concerns, with particular focus on:
  • Burnout and chronic stress
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Anxiety
  • Chronic health conditions and chronic pain
  • Insomnia and sleep difficulties
  • Depression, grief, relationship difficulties, and significant life transitions

With a background in clinical, health, and rehabilitation psychology, Dr. Beaulac has particular experience supporting people at the intersection of physical and emotional health. This may include adjusting to illness or injury, living with persistent pain or other health challenges, and navigating the ways that stress and psychological well-being can affect the body.

She also works with individuals seeking to optimize athletic or artistic performance or make meaningful lifestyle changes, such as becoming more physically active, quitting smoking, improving nutrition, reducing alcohol or drug use, or changing other unwanted behaviours.

Dr. Beaulac has extensive experience working with military members, veterans, first responders, and their families, particularly in relation to trauma and operational stress injuries.

An Integrative and Individualized Approach

Mind-body therapy does not mean that every session involves a body-based practice. Therapy is shaped collaboratively around what is most helpful and comfortable for each person. For some, this may include mindfulness, attention to bodily experience, breath, or other experiential approaches. For others, therapy may focus more on conversation, reflection, psychological strategies, and making sense of patterns in everyday life.

The aim is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to support a deeper understanding of yourself and your experience. Guided by the belief that healing can emerge through reconnection — to the body, to inner wisdom, to others, to nature, and to meaning — Dr. Beaulac supports clients in cultivating greater clarity, compassion, resilience, choice, and alignment with what matters most.

Dr. Beaulac offers in-person psychotherapy in Ottawa and virtual psychotherapy to individuals across Ontario.
